Classroom Management
The goal of my classroom management plan is to create an environment where all students feel safe and explore their curiosities and interests. I view my classroom as a community where each person brings a unique perspective to contribute to our shared learning. I accomplish these goals by organizing my classroom management plan around the overarching themes listed below.
Classroom Environment
Relationships
Motivation and Engagement
Self-Reliance
Cultural Relevance
Discipline
Through addressing these various components of classroom management,
students develop the skills necessary to self-manage and self-motivate.
Setting these expecations on the first day of school establish appropriate
behaviors as the classroom norm and prevent issues in the future.
Please view my full classroom management plan below to see how these six components will be integrated at both an elementary and secondary level.
