Student Growth Objective (SGOs)

In accordance with the New Jersey State requirements for teachers, I conduct an two annual SGO assessments with my dance students at North Plainfield High School.  Below is documentation highlighting one of my SGO assessments.  Dance II & III students were assessed on their embodiment of movement principals.  A diagnostic assessment was conducted in late Septermber to provide a baseline for each student.  Throughout the year each student's progress was tracked through different movement activities and unit assessments.  The data was collected and analyzed to inform my own teaching practice.  The Summative assessment was given in March to conclude the SGO process.  The assessment tools and results for the 2017/2018 academic year can be accessed by the links provided below.
